Charlie is a 3 year old Labrador Retriever in Greensboro, NC, who needs $5,600 for ACL Surgery.

After moving from California, it was time to bring a furry friend into our new home. We searched through Facebook until we found the perfect little puppy. Three years have passed since finding Charlotte, or Charlie as we call her. Charlie lives with several cats that adore her more than she does them. Despite an injury, she happily plays in our spacious backyard, where we all live together.

A few months ago, Charlie injured her ACL while playing in the backyard. Despite our best efforts to avoid surgery, we were sadly unsuccessful, and Charlie continues to experience pain. We are devastated to say she needs surgery. Our ultimate goal is for Charlie to return to a life with little to no pain. The vets at Banfield Pet Hospital are confident they can help us achieve this goal.

Charlie is defiantly a princess. She likes her bones, balls, and playing tug-of-war. She loves dog parks and making new friends. Known for her vocal expressions, she's not shy about sharing her thoughts. Charlie makes a great alarm system. Hoses, sprinklers, or kiddie pools are not her friend, but she loves rivers and lakes. Friendly and outgoing, she thrives on meeting new people everywhere we go
