About this campaign

Charlie came into my life in 2018 after my previous furbaby passed at 18 years old. He's a domestic shorthair. Very shy but when he gets used to you he's really sweet.

Charlie was admitted to the ER at CT Veterinary Center on 2/12 due to eating yarn. Was left overnight while they ran tests including bloodwork, & X-rays. Was released on Saturday due to not eating enough for bowel movement. Had to be sent back to the ER because he had no bowel movement for 2 days was told if no movement happened, surgery would be the next step. 1st visit cost me $3,500.

Charlie has helped me through the grieving process after losing my previous furbaby Brian & brings so much joy & comfort to my life every day. He's so goofy, & makes me laugh. He means the world to me.

I'm working as a caregiver for my mother, but the money I earn is not enough to cover all expenses. If Charlie requires surgery I was told that my estimate can be up to $8,000. I want to see his energy come back.
