Charlie is a 1 year old American Bulldog in Hilliard, FL, who needs $2,000 for ACL.

Charlie was adopted from a rescue who was not helping him. They were just putting him on medication that was actually bad for his a kidneys. He is a loving and sweet boy. We adopted him about 2 months ago. We love him, but his pain is getting to be too much for him and he's hurting. The vet quoted us $6,000 to do the ACL surgery. I'm a teacher and we can't afford this on our own

He adopted Charlie from a rescue. He is a sweet boy. We were told that when he was with his last owners that he got out and came back injured. But they weren't doing anything to really help him with it and weren't planning on it. I fell in love with him. He has a torn ACL along with hip dysplasia. At this time, we are mostly concerned about the torn ACL because of him being in pain.

Charlie is such a sweet boy. Even though he hasn't gotten the best luck in life. He is working on his behaviors and his socialization. But the pain from his leg causes a lot of issues for him and for him to socialize and learn. We love him a lot. He gets along with our other dogs and our cats. Sadly, if we can't find a way to afford to help him, we might have to take him back to the rescue.

It'll give Charlie a fighting chance at a happy life with people who care about him and he cares about. In return. It'll give him that chance and opportunity to have a loving family in a safe environment, with people who want to help him.
