About this campaign
Charlie, who was originally named Marty before we changed his name about a week after we began caring for him, wandered into our garage in poor condition. He was extremely thin and had a pronounced limp on his rear foot, which made it difficult for him to get around. Initially, Charlie was cautious and refused to approach us. However, my wife gradually gained his trust.
Since his arrival, we have been feeding Charlie regularly, and as a result, he looks much healthier than he did when we first met him. He has a robust appetite and drinks plenty of water, which has contributed to his ongoing recovery.
Our family is dedicated to rescuing feral cats. We provide them with food, ensure they are spayed or neutered, and allow them to live safely in our garage and around our home. While we receive vouchers to assist with the costs of spaying and neutering, there are still expenses involved in making sure all the cats are healthy and ready to thrive.
Recently, I experienced a reduction in pay, which has made it challenging for us to afford the necessary medical procedures for our rescues. Charlie needs to have his left rear leg amputated, and the procedure will cost over $2,500. We are seeking $2,500 in assistance.
