Charlie is a light to everyone he comes in contact with and although he is small, his heart is big. His favorite thing in the world to do is play fetch. From the moment I taught him the game he never goes anywhere without a toy. He loves to walk all the trails, but since it’s Arizona, if it gets too hot, he will take a quick nap in the shade. Charlie was playing with his cousin when he rolled on his back, When he tried to get back over, his legs wouldn’t move. We immediately took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with IVDD. We were told he would need a spinal surgery for the best chance of having full function of his hind legs. The surgery could be up to $10k and the MRI is going to be $3k. He is currently on crate rest and meds
