Charlie is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Pensacola, FL, who needs $2,000 for Dental Procedure.

We found Charlie almost 4 years ago rummaging through trash at Dollar General. He was very malnourished and sick. We kept him for the night and took him to the vet to see if he was microchipped and he was. The owners contacted us and said that they no longer wanted him and that we could have him for $50. He has been our sweet boy ever since!

Charlie was abandoned and neglected by his two previous owners. The owners that said that we could keep him had adopted him from the shelter. He came in as a stray that was abandoned and left behind from his very first owners. Charlie is needing severe dental work that will require anesthesia and extractions of multiple teeth. Charlie goes to Megan’s Landing Veterinary Hospital.

Charlie has never liked to play with any toys but he loves to go on walks and meet new people. He is terrified of thunderstorms and will always snuggle extra close when he gets scared. His tail is constantly wagging whether we’re going on a walk or when he’s just walking through the house. He is always so happy! This June will mark 4 years since he became ours!

On fixed income currently. Charlie’s mouth has started bothering him more and it’s sad to watch your animal be in pain. He’s like my child and I just want him to get the care that he deserves.
