Approximately 10 years ago, we were looking for a pet for my granddaughter. My assistant manager told me she was looking for a home for her dog. She showed me his picture and I immediately fell in love. We brought him home and he bonded with me instead of my granddaughter. He has been my constant companion ever since. His registered name is Charleston Nigel Woodruff I.

Charlie lives with my husband, myself and our granddaughter. He has a dog mate named Vennie G. who is a Yorkie mix. Charlie loves to play fetch and keep away. You throw his toy, he brings it back to just out of your reach and will tease you with it. He thinks he is the policeman of the house; whenever he goes outside, he has to walk the entire perimeter of our fence.

Good morning! Just wanted to give an update on Charlie. His nodes have returned to normal size and he is his old self. He has at least 2 more treatments this cycle, which will run around $900 I am very appreciative of your donations. Please help us work towards a cure

About a month ago, I noticed that Charlie was not himself. I took him to our vet and was told that he had very enlarged lymph nodes. They did needle biopsies which returned large cell lymphoma. I took him to an oncologist who sent another sample off which returned B-cell Lymphoma, which is the best diagnosis. He was given a med at that visit, and most of his nodes have shrunk down to nothing.

Charlie is my best friend. He and I just like to be. When we are sitting on the couch, you cannot get anything between us. He sleeps by my side every night. He is at my heel when I move around the house. He has that sparkle in his eye when he sees me. He still has a lot of puppy in him. The oncologist said he is a senior, but not a geriatric senior. I cannot imagine life without him.
