Charlotte is a 3 year old Labrador Retriever in Wichita, KS, who needs $2,000 for Stabilization and pain management.

Charlotte presented as a stray to Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita after being hit by a car. Due to her injuries a rescue was needed to help with her treatment. Staff reached out to Pawsitive Tails Rescue and they were willing to take Charlotte in under their rescue. Charlotte continued to receiving the necessary medical treatment and stabilization while we wanted for owners.

Charlotte was brought to the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita after being hit by a car. She was in early shock upon arrival and had suffered from head trauma, pelvic fractures, and a full-thickness wound on her medial hindlimb. The medical team is also monitoring her closely for potential pulmonary contusions, given the circumstances of her injury.

Charlotte has been a great dog. She is currently on restrictions until her pelvis heals and then will require surgery to have a FHO done in the future.

Charlotte has fit right into her foster home. Overall, she is not just a companion but a truly special member of the family. Any and all help is greatly appreciated to help cover her expenses.
