Hi! My name is Chaz and I'm a 7-year old lab mix. My siblings and I were found in a trash bin, taken to an animal shelter and that is where dad and mom found me! Not to mention, I also suffer from hypothyroidism and take daily medicine for that condition. The anti-inflammatory/pain medicine I was on for my leg/knee (Carprofen) no longer helps me with pain and I'm still limping. My most recent x-ray shows a lot of inflammation by my knee.

In order to get better and back to my healthy, playful self I must undergo Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy to repair my Cranial Cruciate Ligament, which is similar to the ACL in humans. My vet, Dr. Settle at Midwest Animal Hospital will lead the procedure, which will run about $4,250 - $5,029. The soonest availability for the procedure is January 21st and I'm really hoping to get better asap.
