About this campaign

Our cat, Cheddar has been a very playful and heartwarming addition to our family since the day we brought him back from the animal shelter. Unfortunately, Cheddar had an unexpected accident inside our home and cut his leg severely injuring his tendon. He will need surgery or amputation. My wife and I are on Social Security income only and I am also disabled so our finances are limited.

Since our first moments together, Cheddar has lifted our spirits and shared his love every day. during these very troubled times. Curious of course, and would often run both outside and inside and get himself into little bits of trouble . His easy to get along with personality with friends and family has made us whole.

My wife and I are people of limited financial means. I am disabled and my wife is on Social Security as our only sources of income. Having Cheddar healthy and spirited again would make our family whole again. And yes, we feel our cats are family as opposed to being only pets

Cheddar had an unexpected accident inside our home and cut his leg severely injuring his tendon. We took him into the local animal hospital where they informed us he would need corrective surgery. The surgery must be done by a specialist to either amputate or save his leg with emergency surgery. We want to save poor Cheddars leg so he can continue to be his playful self.

Cheddar has an affectionate habit of rubbing his face against ours which we call "kitty kisses". My wife and I are also uplifted by his energy and his acrobatic antics with his brother, Kozmo. It is like watching trapeze performers at times. The two of them seem inseparable with one seeking out the other when not in the same area of our home.
