Emergency Fundraiser: Tiny Kitten Cheddar is in Big Need of Your Help 🚨

This little orange kitten is fighting for his life and urgently needs your help today. We found Cheddar and his siblings at a local municipal animal shelter, in pain and in desperate need of medical care. His eye is severely infected and ulcerated, and could rupture at any moment as shown in the photos. We couldn’t stand by and watch him suffer, so we rushed Cheddar and his siblings to urgent care for immediate treatment.

Sadly, both of Cheddar’s eyes are affected. He will need surgery to remove one, and we’re doing everything we can to save the other. The veterinary team at Family Pet Care is working around the clock to give him the best possible chance at recovery.

Update 11/16/25 Cheddar has been hospitalized. His eye socket was infected and oozing.

1/14/26 Update

After Cheddar's last hospitalization, he was doing better; however, his "good" eye had anterior synecheia , and he's now having surgery to have that one removed as well. The bills are only increasing for Spicy Whiskers as they continue to provide the best care for Cheddar. We appreciate your continued support.
