This is our beautiful baby, Chevron ❤️ This kitten was found in the bushes at a gas station along the I-5 in CA. Chevron was only about 4 weeks old, and was struggling to walk on his hind end.

My daughter and I could not leave him there alone, and looked all over for Momma and kittens (we would have rescued them all!) but they were nowhere to be found. It took us 45 mins but we coaxed him out. This kitten is so loved and after only having him the past 5 months, we are completely attached and dedicated to his happiness and well-being. He loves to be held, to play and snuggle under the covers. Chevron has been introduced to our puppy and they look forward to playtime together every night.

Chevron had been doing so well growing strong and playful, and having a family that loves him. I am a single mom and I don't get child support. My daughter and my pets are my life. I can't pay for all of today's tests to determine what's wrong and need help for Chevron. Please, anything you can do would be appreciated for this kitten and my family. I took our kitten to the vet as an urgent care situation this morning. Chevron was losing function in his hind end and has a fever. It could be neurological or a feline disease.

The baseline tests for blood work and x-rays start at 639.00. There will be more for the IV and medications. I'm not sure if more tests will be needed, but he deserves every opportunity to live a healthy life 🙏 Chevron loves to be held like a baby and get kisses every morning and every night. He has my heart. So when he started to lose his appetite this past week, I was concerned. I tried every type of food and flavor, and went back to bottle feeding to supplement his meals and nutrition. Last night he started to lose balance. He couldn't run or play as he had been doing and just wanted to rest.
