About this campaign
This sweet cat was recently hit by a car and rushed for emergency care. By some miracle, her X-rays showed no broken bones, but the accident caused a hernia that requires urgent surgical repair. Right now, she’s in pain and needs surgery as soon as possible to prevent serious complications. Without this operation, her condition could become life-threatening. We’re asking for help to cover: Emergency veterinary care Hernia surgery Post-operative recovery and medications Every donation—big or small—brings her one step closer to healing and a second chance at life. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means the world too. Thank you for helping us fight for her future. ❤️🐱
4/16/26 Update
We’re so happy to share the news everyone has been hoping for—Chevy is safe, healed, and home.
Because of your support, Chevy was able to receive the emergency care she so desperately needed. Her surgery was a success, and she was safely spayed—ending the life-threatening condition that once put her at risk.
After spending time recovering at the veterinary clinic under close watch, Chevy continued to improve day by day. Once she was medically cleared, it didn’t take long for someone to see just how special she is.
Chevy has officially been adopted and is now living the life she always deserved—safe, loved, and right where she belongs. She’s soaking up attention, enjoying the comforts of a real home, and finally getting to just be a happy, carefree cat.
Her story is a powerful reminder of why spaying is so important. What Chevy went through was preventable—but thanks to this community, her story has a happy ending.
We are so grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and supported her along the way. You didn’t just help fund a surgery—you helped save a life.
Thank you for being part of Chevy’s journey.
