About this campaign
Chevy came into my life by accident. She was a former friend's dog and they could not have pets where they lived so I offered to keep her for a while. She was 3 months old at the time. Me and her instantly bonded and the friend agreed to let me keep her. She has been by my side ever since. I couldn't imagine my life without her.
Chevy loves everyone she meets and when you come to visit my home you are coming to see her. She just loves to be petted and wants all the love she can get. She loves her sister Gypsy our other dog and she loves my Mom and Son. I think my Son is her favorite person. She always watches for them to come home everyday and gets so excited when everyone is home.
Chevy will make you laugh with her different quirks she has. She loves to throw her plush toys in the air, she loves to go through bags to see if anything is for her and she gets so excited if I receive a package in the mail she will be right beside me as I open it and has to have her nose shoved in it to see what it is.
On December 30th I took Chevy into the vet as I had noticed stones in her urine. She was put on special food to dissolve them. The following week she became very weak and sick I called the vet and we rushed her in the Dr did some tests and discovered her liver was very bad and did not have much hope. We have been treating symptoms with different meds to see what will work and so far they are working.
I currently work part time and have high bills due to winter needs such as propane for heat and high electric bills. Any help would mean the world so I can continue to treat her medically as she needs more medication and tests.
