This is Chewbacca's story:

They call me Chewy. I'm nearly 3 years old and I was a normal dog running, playing and chewing. I love car rides too. My family rescued me a year ago from going to a shelter. I live the best life now, I receive so much love and attention it has brought out my best side.

Chewy is the cutest attention seeker. He was very reserved and unsure when we adopted him but he opened up within 3 months because we gave him so much attention and love. He demands it now. Lol. He is dads companion during the day as dad is injured and moms boy at night after a work day. Chewy is alert, loves to sleep on the couch and on the bed. He understand certain words. Loves car rides.

He loves treats. He is a fussy eater. He gives a lot of kisses. And he barks when he wants uour attention. He loves running in the snow. He loves running after potty, he is so fast and he leaps in air over 2 steps straight into the house and make a turn in the lounge and kitchen, he is super funny.

Chewy was normal on Thursday and Friday morning but during Friday he acted different just sitting and not jumping on couch. He looked stiff walking. It looked like a hurt his muscles in his back legs. Saturday morning his back legs were giving in. We took him to the vet. We were told its a slipped disk. He need xrays done. We only had $200 for the visit and medication. He needs xrays done asap.

This is an unexpected costs and we have no savings. Dad is on workers compensation due to injury at work and mom works. We are financially in a tight spot right now. We are devastated. We won't give up on him, he is too precious to us.
