Chewbacca is a 11 month old Mix-Breed in Wasilla, AK, who needs $2,000 for ER examination, Lab Work & Subsequent Treatment.

Chewbacca (Chewy) was given to us because his owner was severely allergic to him. He became a huge part of my kids & I’s lives. He is our emotional support pup, he always seems to know when I or my son needs him. He is a mischievous puppy though and his curiosity has caught up with him.

He ingested a large amount of Vitamin D3 and that is toxic for dogs. It leads to Kidney & Liver failure if left untreated. I spoke with a vet tech & aspca poison control and it is believed that he is well on his way to Kidney & liver failure.

Chewy is a very active and loving puppy. He loves his momma and boy. He spends his days aggravating his older brother, Yoda. Chewy and Yoda are our emotional support pets and we will be lost without his presence.

My son and I just recently moved from Montana to Alaska and we haven’t gotten financially settled yet. I am working hard to get things lined out but I am still on probation at my new job and I am still paying off our travel expense. It’s $600 for a vet visit & labs.
