4yrs ago someone on Facebook posted this doggie was lost and looking for their owner. Coincidentally, I was looking for a puppy for my 13yr old daughter. I told them if nobody responded in 30days that we would take the doggie in. These kind folks interviewed us to make sure we were a good fit and gave us the doggie. We named him Chewie and now he is part of our family!! My daughter loves him

He sleeps with me in my bed, we go for walks at 10am and 4pm. He doesn’t stop barking until he gets taken outside and he is a very attentive doggie. My daughter looks forward to seeing him when she wakes up, when she gets home from school and when shes done with her homework. I work from remote from home so with him 24/7! He keeps me from talking to myself on a daily basis! Haha. He’s great!

Chewie goes in circles when he gets excited and buries himself into your body when he wants to be petted. He also scratches ur hand when he doesnt want you to stop petting his head or stomach. When he’s comfortable in your arms his tounge sticks out and he also snores which I am not sure if that is good or bad.

Chewie has a growth on his paw that has grown the same size as his paw. Its in the pictures. We didn’t think anything of it and didn’t realize it was growing as he behaves normal. The veterinarian advised its nothing serious but needs to be removed and appears to be growing.

Unfortunately we had a SERIOUS loss in our family (10/29) that set us back. Everytime we see Chewie we keep telling him to hang in there as we will get him fixed. However it is expensive and it will mean the world to us to have some financial assistance to help our Chewie.
