Chewie is a 2-year-old Yorkie Mix in Houston, TX, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostics and Internal Med.

After losing my Min Pin/Chihuahua Mix of 17 years, I began fostering with a local rescue. I came incontact with a momma dog that had recently had yorkie/bichon puppies. I was not sure if adding another dog to my life was right at the moment, but Chewie assured me of that.
It is just Chewie and I, together forever. We go every where together. He is my ride or die, my sidekick, wherever I go.

Chewie loves all people but not all pets. That could be because he has grown accustom to being an only dog.
He is a spunky little boy that is so full of life and love but an old man at heart. He plays hard but at 8pm he outs himself to bed to get his beauty sleep.

Chewie is special to me because he is my child, the light of my life. He brings a smile to my face and keeps the grey skies away. He is ready to play or snuggle, whatever the situation calls for. In his short 2 years he has already been through so much with me. A couple of homes, boyfriends, cars, etc. He is my rock!

Chewie began having issues November 30. He has had 4 episodes now, and each time things have progressively gotten worse. The vets thinks he may be having seizures, but a camera was set up after the 2nd time and so far nothing has been caught on tape. Bloody and bruised face and eyes, stool caked on his hind end, bulging eyes and now urinating frank blood.

I was laid off of my job and took a lower paying job. I was living with a roommate that helped with rent and bills but they moved out. My credit is not perfect and I am unable to get CareCredit, scratch pay, etc.
