Chewy is 1 year 9 months old he has been thru a lot in a short amount of time, he is a family member. Chewy had a foreign body exploration surgery when he was 10 weeks old and as result had 8 inches of intestine removed along with his manhood, fast forward to chewy at 8 months old he got attacked by a neighbor dog and ended with him having his right jugular punctured.

Chewy loves to go down to the lake, and take walks, he loves people and other animals. Chewy has a very unique personality, and has been thru a lot in a short time.

Right now only one of us are working and we have been paying every penny we can, I am also selling my vehicle to get some more of the funds up, we just want our strong willed fur baby to live and be happy

Chewy has had multiple surgeries over the past year and a half, Clay County Humane Society has done all of them except his one surgery on his jugular carterization. Chewy was recently attacked by a snake and the trauma has been extensive - as you can see in the photos. He needs our help to survive.

Chewy has an older 3 year old hound brother, he also has his mom and dad along with several brothers and sisters that live close by. Chewy is a love-bug and has already been through so much in his short time here on earth. He is a survivor and pretty happy go lucky despite all the bumps in the road along the way.
