Chewy is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Sanborn, NY, who needs $800 for Emergency Vet Visit, Possible Obstruction.

Chewy came into our lives a little over two years ago. We had recently lost our dog of 13 years and our son was devastated. A friend's dog had just had a litter of puppies and offered one to our son for a early Christmas gift. We went to pick out a puppy and found chewy trying to fit his brother's entire head in his mouth, our son thought it was funny and picked him, and hence the name chewy.

Recently while my wife and I were at work, chewy ate a large piece of the carpet runner in the upstairs hallway. He seemed fine at first, but over the last two days he's had us worried sick. He stopped eating ( which is a huge red flag for him) now he's at the point where he can't keep anything down, even water. He hasn't pooped and we're terrified that he has an obstruction.

Chewy filled a big hole in our lives. He is so gentle and full of love. He looks after his brother Max like he was his pup. He is always there for a cuddle after a rough day and is just overall a wonderful dog. He is our best friend and we cannot imagine our home without him. He's playful and if he senses something is wrong, he's the first to try and comfort you. He is love in it's purest form.

We recently lost my mother in law, and she left us with a lot of debt. We both work full time but are struggling with our bills and paying off a reverse mortgage to keep my wife's childhood home in the family. We don't have the extra funds to pay for an emergency vet visit.
