About this campaign
Chia was a gift to us. We were able to pick her out of a litter of 8. She was the runt, she was dehydrated and not eating well. I had to nurse her to health. It took a few days but I got her eating and drinking. Chia needs to have surgery to remove object’s from her tummy. Without surgery she will not survive. I love her but can’t afford the cost.
Chia sleeps with me every night. She give’s kisses in the morning when she wants me to get up to feed her. My dog Dash I’d her best friend. He weighs 160lbs. Where one is so is the other. Chia is so loving. I sometime wander if she thinks she is a dog. She comes whenever I call her. She loves hugs and rubs.
Chia has the loudest meow. Especially when I take the dog out. She stays at the door, meowing very loud, the saddest meow sound that she can make, the whole time until we return. We also have a cat named Puddie. Puddie and Chia get along, but they really don’t hand out together. She stays with it dog or sometimes I’m enough for her.
Hampden Veterinary Hospital in Englewood, CO.
Chia has Gastrointestinal Foreign Body in her stomach. She needs to have surgery asap. They don’t think she can bring it up herself. What she swallowed we don’t know. I think it’s hair ties. For some reason she loves them. I try to keep them out of reach to her.
I’m a single mother of 3. My daughter just started college that cost a lot out of pocket to get her started. I just can’t afford the surgery. My only other choice would be to put her down.
