Chica is a 9-year-old Lab/ridgeback in Waco, TX, who needs $650 for Surgery removal of possible cancerous tumor .

We found Chica on Mothers Day 2011 in the middle of the road. She's really smart and our best friend. She never had any health problems until now. She had a reddish pink sore pop up . We took her to the vet and was told it maybe cancer. She needs surgery to remove it and also she needs a biopsy to be done asap in case it is cancer. Please help us save her!!!

She protects the cats,barks at the other dogs if they try to play. Shes the boss so she thinks. She is very protective. She now hides from mom cause she thinks I'm trying to give her meds. She loves dad. Shes old and likes it quite and if it gets loud she will start barking,like shes saying "shut up".

Having her out of pain would mean the world to us!! Tumor has caused limping and constant licking as it continues to grow. It's hard to see her hurting and not having the funds to make life better for her again.

She has a possibly cancerous tumor located on her left paw. I wasn't expecting to hear the word cancer. I just never imagined it could be something the vet can't cure.

She's part of our pack. If we leave she's at the door ready to go to. Shes been chasing squirrels her whole life and never caught one. She loves to lay outside in the sun. She loves to swim. She is smart and loyal protective bossy. It's hard to think about her not being around it's a heartbreaking thought.
