About this campaign

Chief recently came into our lives just about a week ago. He is a Yorkshire Terrier puppy born on Aug. 20. Chief gets his name because my husband and I are Texas Tech alumni and HUGE Patrick Mahomes fans! Go Chiefs!!! Chief has one brother, Gunner, another Yorkshire Terrier who is 4.5 years old. We have only recently brought Chief into our family, but he is one of our Fur Babies!

Chief is a busy bee just like any other puppy! He is full of life and loves to play in the grass in the backyard. One of his favorite activities is to "hunt" his older brother Gunner in the back yard and pretend he is going to attack him. Chief loves to play with balls, rope toys, and growling at his bubba.

My husband and I have already burned through our emergency fund getting Chief the care he needs. Chief's 4 days stay at the emergency vet has already very expensive and keeps climbing daily. We are unsure how much more we can go and really need some help.

Unfortunately after just 3 days of bringing Chief home, he began to throw up every few hours & his stool began to become soft. These were the early signs of his illness. We ended up going to the vet 3 days in a row and finally took the Canine Parvovirus test, which Chief tested strongly positive. Chief was immediately taken to a 24/7 facility where he could fight and get the treatment he needs.

Chief stole our hearts from the get go with his personality and adorable face. He is the cutest and most sound sleeper. He loves his big bubba more than anything and just wants to be at his side at all times. His bubbly personality transcends into how he trots around our home as if he is curious George! Man is it hard to keep up with him sometimes!
