About this campaign

We received Chili Bean & her sister Jelly Bean from a flea market near Charlotte on 12/9. They were in a box with the bottom covered in poop & pee. We didn't want to leave them behind & wind up with 2 puppies & a fear that my husband might divorce me once i got home. After a day or so, we realized Chili wasn't feeling well. After a large mistake from the vet, we wind up going to the er on 12/13.

Once Chili & Jelly came home on Sat. I had been sleeping need their crate at night so they would not be lonely. They ride with us in the mornings to take the kids to school & pick them up. We have only gotten 4-5 days to spend with her until she had to go to the hospital.

The second day home, Chili & her sister found the cat's toy bin & decided to pick thru to get some goodies. They seem to only want the toy the other one has. What breaks my heart now is, Jelly will pass a mirror in our living room and will get excited, start licking it maybe thinking it is her sister Chili.

Realizing Chili might be sick, we made an appt with Bayleaf Hospital in Raleigh on Monday. They ran a test & told her she was parvo - . She kept declining & we were sent home with medicine for diarrhea & fluid under the skin. Wed night we rushed her to Blue Pearl ER, where she tested Positive for parvo.

We have 6 kids due to other family problems, with Christmas being a week away, I have had to return somethings due to the $3500 we had to put down before they would treat her. Now they want another $3500 for future treatment. My kids agreed to giving up some gifts.
