Chimi is a 12-year-old Domestic Cat in Station Island, NY, who needs $2,000 for CT scan and biopsy.

Twelve years ago I found my little Chimi sitting in the middle of the street as a kitten with gunk in her eyes. I took her home & have loved her and have taken care of her. She has been sick over the years, but now it's really serious. She may have cancer in her eye. I lost 2 other cats last yr to illness and just don't want to lose Chimi. She's been threw a lot & I have to try to save her

I have a large tribe of kitties in my house & Chimi has been a part of that tribe for 12 yrs. She gets along with everyone . My son was so upset when he found out that she was sick. We have loved her since we found her and will be so sad if we don't try to save her and get her the treatment that she needs. If we don't reach the goal in time 4 the CT scan, then maybe I can use it for the treatments.

Chimi is so tiny, only about 7 pounds. She loves to do this little dance that I call the Chi Chi dance. She taps up & down with her back legs & goes around in circles & then flops on the floor. She also makes these little cooing noises when you talk to her. She also has her favorite places to sleep or hide, like on the pillow above my head.

Chimi started having issues with her eye months ago &was misdiagnosed 3x by 3 vets. Finally, the ophthalmologist said that she would need a CAT SCAN & biopsy because she feels that she may have a tumor or cancer behind her right eye, When the test comes back she will know if she a candidate for chemo. The office is Verg Veterinary and the Vets name is Dr.Ashley Zibura. The CT scan is on 12-1-21.

I am a single mom & I freelance in film & tv production. With all the covid restrictions, it's been very difficult finding work. I also just recently spent 6,000 on my other cat Snowy for surgery. I also spend $ on feeding /caring 4 my indoor kitties & 5 outdoor colonies.
