I got Chloe when I was 18. She had been the perfect dog. She’s been by my side since she was a puppy and I planned to have her by my side for many more years. She is 8 years old now and you wouldn’t know it. She is constantly playing and having a great time anywhere she goes which is where she got her nickname motor. If you know me you know Chloe is a big part of my life.

On 9-5-25 I brought Chloe to the vet to have them look at a growth on her foot that had been there for a while. I did everything at home that I could but I wasn’t getting better. They did a fine needle aspiration and concluded it was mast cell. This is an aggressive cancer. She is scheduled to get her toe removed Friday morning. They will then do X rays and send the toe off to see If it has spread

Some of you know Chloe and know how sweet she is. I truly got blessed with the best first dog you can ask for. She definitely has her quirks but that’s what makes me love her more. She howls at the sound of squeaky toys and loves anyone she comes to meet. Like a typical pitbull she loves to be under the covers and to snuggle. Chloe was the runt of her litter and I believe it makes her more special

If the cancer has spread, she will need chemo that would give me about 6 more months with her. The vet told me the granules she saw looked to be in the later stages which isn’t good. I want to spend as much time as I can with her and this would help with costs so I can do it
