About this campaign

Chloe is a rescue who started with my oldest son accepting the challenge of a very small addition to his life. When he was in need of moving, Chloe began to live with me and we took on her best friends Striker and Jimi the Cat as well. She is the mother of 2 litters one with her current best friend a white shepherd named Striker who is an amputee we adopted from another family.

She is the mothering aspect to the other pets. She has had two litters and has helped raise a litter of kittens, and we adopted Jimi the Cat from that litter. She is the momma here. We stay in contact with her extended family owners from the litters and enjoy seeing them online and sometimes my son and one of the owners take Chloe and one of her daughters to the lake.

Unemployed and low income even before the pandemic as well as needing to help my son acquire another vehicle has us looking for assistance. I have also had multiple incidents of job income decrease in hours and income through out the year before the pandemic began.

Chloe was being babysat at my son's apartment, he was on his way to my house to drop her off before work on March 16, 2021 and he lost control of his vehicle which fell off a bridge and landed upside down. My son only had a concussion but Chloe had sustained 3 pelvic fractures. After the ER, with quarantine since she nipped a fire department personnel when my son was unconscious she stayed w/ him.

She loves everyone and all animals. We walk outdoors on a large lot at the apartments and the community has stray cats who are welcomed here since the owner is a cat lover. A few months into residing here, and the strays walk with us and follow us home to feed them in the outdoor bowls each day. She is almost part cat.
