Chloe is a 8-month-old Pomeranian in Grandview , MO, who needs $1,800 for Trochlear Sulcoplasty for Luxating Patellas.

My sweet little Pomeranian Chloe came into my life from a local shelter Wayside Waifs on April 11, 2023 when she was 10 weeks old. She was released from a puppy mill along with her sister and mother. I also have a 11 year old rescue Pom and a 12 year old rescue cat. I lost my 16 year old Pomeranian I had from puppyhood last October the previous year and Chloe helps to fill that void.

Chloe is such a sweet little girl. I would love to have her become a therapy dog to visit people in nursing homes and any facility to cheer people up because of her gentle nature. I also have a 11 year old Pomeranian named Koby that I rescued 4 years ago. Chloe loves people and gets very excited when seeing and greeting others! She can't go for walks like other dogs. I'm hoping someday she can.

Chloe is a happy little girl despite her knees popping with every step she takes. She can't run like she did when she was 10 weeks old due to her stage 4 luxating patellas. She walks a few steps and has to rest. She would be running around like a puppy if she could. Sometimes she has to lie down when eating. Chloe loves people and people love her!

Chloe was diagnosed with grade 1 luxating patellas at 8 weeks old at the shelter. Her condition has progressed to stage 4 with limping and sitting a lot do to her inability to walk properly now at 8 months old. Her vet is Dr. John Lyle at Crest Animal Hospital in Kansas City MO. I'm hoping that someday Chloe can become a therapy dog visiting retirement homes, nursing homes and children in need.

Chloe's surgery will cost around $1800 for each knee. I don't have the money to pay for her surgery. It would be wonderful to see my little Chloe running and jumping around like other dogs. She doesn't deserve to be in pain. Any donation will help this sweet little girl.
