Chloe Sanchez is a 12-year-old Chihuahua in Miami, FL, who needs $2,000 for bilateral radical mastectomy.

Over a year ago now we rescued Chloe (12 years old), she was in terrible conditions, a chihuahua barely weighing at 3 pounds, infested with all kinds of bugs (inside & out), was found balding and bleeding, with a bladder infection & was infested with tumors. The vet suggested the tumors might stop growing post spay surgery (didn't stop growing) now she needs a bilateral radical mastectomy.

We took her in and bought her any and everything she needed, not just to survive but to come back to life. We have 4 rescue dogs, 2 rescue cats and a bird, so our home is filled with love and joy and she fit right in! Once she got comfortable in her new forever home, she quickly became more active & alive, everyday was a fight. Now it is hard to believe she was ever left in those conditions...

My family & I have been unemployed since last March (pandemic). The money & aid goes to bills, food, school & the fur babies. We have managed but now her surgery is estimated at $2,943.62-$3,825.00. She needs a 2 part full mammary gland chain resection. Anything will help!!

After we got her at a healthy weight, treated her bladder infection & dewormed her, we got her spayed & vaccinated at the humane society. With possible pyometra or was losing a pregnancy, those issues resolved after the surgery. We currently monitor her weight & allergies but her tumors have grown drastically so we pursued a diagnosis and surgery is now the only solution at Miami Vet Specialists.

Proudly we brag that she has gained 2-3 very healthy pounds and is finally at a healthy weight and more alive than ever! She is a little shy one but when it is just me and her, she'll even do backflips to get me to laugh my heart out. She is a senior dog & it never ceases to amaze me how hyper she gets when she smells her fav treats & the zoomies before our walks are to die for & THE cutest ever!!
