About this campaign
Chloe is a gentle, shy cat who prefers quiet corners and soft voices. She’s the kind of kitty who doesn’t ask for much — just a safe place to rest and someone patient enough to earn her trust. But recently, the dedicated volunteers at Adopt A Cat Foundation noticed something wasn’t quite right.
Chloe was hiding more than usual, and her once well-groomed coat began to look unkempt — often a sign that a cat isn’t feeling well. Concerned for her health, volunteers brought Chloe to the veterinarian, where the cause of her discomfort became clear. Chloe was suffering from severe dental disease and needed to have 11 teeth removed to relieve her pain.
Dental issues in cats can be incredibly painful, making it difficult to eat, groom, and even rest comfortably. For a shy cat like Chloe, that discomfort only caused her to withdraw further. The dental procedure was necessary to give her relief and help her return to her gentle, quiet self.
Thanks to quick action, Chloe received the care she needed — but the cost of this extensive dental surgery is significant. Adopt A Cat Foundation relies on compassionate supporters to help cover unexpected medical expenses like Chloe’s. Your donation helps cats like Chloe get the care they need to live comfortably.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, goes directly toward her veterinary care. Chloe may be shy, but she deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and pain-free. Thank you for helping give this sweet girl a chance to heal and thrive.
5/26/26 Update
After undergoing extensive dental surgery to remove 11 painfully diseased teeth, Chloe has fully recovered and is feeling so much better. This gentle, shy girl has come such a long way since volunteers first noticed she was hiding more than usual and struggling to groom herself because of the severe pain she was living with every day.
Thanks to the care she received — and the incredible support from all of you — Chloe is now back out in the main cat room at Adopt A Cat Foundation, enjoying the comfort and companionship of her fellow cats once again. Seeing her return to her normal routines and quietly settle back into her familiar space has been such a relief for everyone who loves her.
Dental disease can be incredibly debilitating for cats, especially for shy cats like Chloe who often suffer silently. Because of your generosity, Chloe no longer has to live with that pain. She can eat comfortably, groom herself again, and simply enjoy being a cat without discomfort holding her back.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared her story, and helped make her surgery possible. Your compassion truly changed Chloe’s life and gave her the chance to heal safely and comfortably.
Thank you for helping this sweet girl get the care she deserved.
