About this campaign

Choji came into our lives a little over 3 years ago. We got him and his brother Kiba as puppies. He’s been a little fireball since and constantly keeps us on our toes. He’s always been very emotionally expressive and makes us laugh countless times throughout the day. His brother & him are inseparable and have the funniest zoomies together and we’re so grateful to be their pawrents.

We noticed a small (1 cm) bump on Chojis thigh and waited about a month or two to see if it would go down hoping it was just a bug bite or sting. After growing paranoia we took him to his vet, Southpaw vet and did a cytology and the results came back as a Mast Cell Tumor. The good news is the location seems easily accessible, and we’re hoping once removed it’ll be cured.

Choji is the biggest talker and really lets you know when he needs something, it’s time for dinner, there’s someone at the door, his brother his laying in his spot, etc. The funniest thing is when he barks and his lips get tucked and his little teeth’s are out.

I am active duty military stationed in San Diego. Along with financial stress, it’s caused great emotional stress since Choji is like a kid to us.
