Chomper is a 13-year-old Yorkie Poo in Garner, NC, who needs $1,500 for urgent dental surgery.

Chomper's chompers are in bad shape, and he needs dental surgery immediately.

"It's come to the point where antibiotics aren't even touching the problem anymore," Karen C., his human mom, tells Waggle. "He needs to get a tooth extraction. We worry that not only is our boy in pain but that the infection in his mouth may spread elsewhere if left untreated. He is suffering."

Karen is having difficulty paying for Chomper's surgery because she has several rescued pets, and one just cost her a fortune. "Our cat had a tumor around her heart that ultimately took her life. We had her in an animal hospital for many days and spent thousands trying to find out what was wrong. We maxed out our credit cards."

Karen created this campaign with the hopes you can help Chomper get the dental surgery that is now so critical.

"We struck gold when we adopted Chomper and his sister Little Bit 13 years ago," Karen says. "He loves going for walks around the neighborhood. He loves to tuck his head into your chest and happy cry while you rub his belly. When I'm cooking, I will offer him bites of what I'm making, and if he doesn't like something, he won't just leave it in front of me on the floor; he will take it to another room and leave it hidden, so he doesn't hurt my feelings. A true gentleman."
