About this campaign

Chonkers is our beloved family cat who has lived with FLUTD (feline lower urinary tract disease) for several years. This condition can cause painful UTI flare-ups and, in severe cases, life-threatening urinary blockages.

Unfortunately, last night Chonkers developed a blockage and had to be rushed to the emergency vet.

He is now receiving the critical treatment he needs, but the cost could be upwards of $6,600 — an amount I simply don’t have. FLUTD requires careful management, low-stress living, and a specialized diet, but even with the best care, emergencies like this can still happen.

Even though Chonkers is a sensitive soul, he has always been incredibly loving and gentle — especially with children. When my kids were babies, he would curl up beside them like he was “babysitting.” Now, he patiently lets my one-year-old tackle him with hugs and snuggles. He’s such a good, tolerant cat, and I truly believe he deserves the chance to get the care he needs.

I recently had an unexpected job change, and money has been extremely tight for me and my kids. I’ve been doing my best to keep up with bills and rent, and now this emergency with Chonkers has hit us hard. Any help toward covering his treatment right now would mean the world
