About this campaign
My wife and I arrived in the USA in March of last year, the time when the pandemic broke out and we had to choose between returning to our country to fight unemployment, lockdown and the economy on the ground or staying to live a dignified life but far away from our family. This decision was the best but it also brought us a lot of sadness. After about a year I met Chuck in a foster home.
Chuck loves to sleep, he sleeps in many funny ways on his back. He loves to hold our legs when we pass by and he plays a lot with his brother. They both hate water and bathing them is really difficult. He purrs a lot when he is with us in bed and when we just got home from work. Although even asleep they love to receive us and ask for pampering.
The estimated cost to save the life of our baby is between 3,500 to 4,700 USD. We already paid 600 USD last night as part of the payment of what they have done so far. In the last few months we have spent our money on repairs to the vehicles we work on transporting patients.
Yesterday, Saturday, Chuck vomited several times in the morning expelling pieces of something that looked like a cord. We thought that was all but he did not eat all day and at night he complained and also vomited but only expelled liquid so we decided to take him immediately to the emergency room. They performed an x-ray that allowed them to see several more pieces in his intestine and obstruction.
Chuck and Lemmy are the best of friends, when they are far away they call and look for each other. They make their sounds to attract the attention of the other. They play a lot biting and hunting each other. Definitely bringing them both home was the best decision in the world.
