About this campaign

For years, Chuck Norris survived on a Thai army base in Northern Thailand, relying on scraps and his own determination to make it through each day. At only 4 years old, he had likely never known the comfort of a home or the care of a veterinarian.

When Hand to Paw Foundation finally brought Chuck Norris to safety, they quickly discovered he was suffering from Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumor (CTVT), a contagious but treatable cancer. Despite months of chemotherapy, his condition continued to worsen. The cancer had become so severe that it destroyed part of his urethra, leaving him unable to urinate normally and causing constant discomfort.

His veterinary team made the decision to perform emergency reconstructive surgery, creating an entirely new urinary pathway while also removing the remaining cancer. It was a complex procedure, but we're incredibly grateful to share that the surgery was a success!

Now Chuck Norris begins the next chapter of his journey: healing. He will need ongoing veterinary monitoring, medications, follow-up appointments, and supportive care as he recovers from this life-changing procedure.

Hand to Paw Foundation never hesitated to give Chuck Norris the care he needed, even before the funds were in place. They chose to act because his life depended on it.

Today, we're asking for your help. Your donation will help cover the cost of Chuck Norris's emergency surgery and continued recovery, while allowing Hand to Paw Foundation to keep saying "yes" to dogs with nowhere else to turn.
