My beautiful Cindy Lou came to me as a rescue. My daughter found her mom behind the Burger King and Cindy Lou had her leg either cut off or pulled off. We simply don't know what happened before we found her. We took her to Animal control and fostered her through the county and when she was well enough, she was released to us in an adoption. Since then, she has developed a bone infection.

I took her to Redwood veterinary Hospital and they assessed her and determined it was a bone infection and that in amputation would be required. However, the prognosis is very good. Once the limb is removed, she will live a very long and healthy life. She had such a rough start and it took her a long time to trust and I don't want to let her down.

Even when she is not feeling well, she still has a wonderful personality. She was the runt of the litter and had five siblings. She's very fast, even on three lakes. She is not very social with people. She tends to trust me and my daughter the most. She loves playing with her siblings and with the toys we give her and she loves getting pets in the evening time.

The 1st vet had given her a completely clean bill of health so We did not expect her to develop a bone infection. It would mean the world if I could get help with the surgery and the aftercare expenses because after such a rough start, she deserves a chance to thrive.
