Cisco is a 5-year-old German Sheperd in West Sacramento, CA, who needs $2,000 for Total Ear Canal Ablation and Bulla Osteotomy.

Cisco was born on the 4th of July in 2016. He is the son of our other dogs Oso and Anka. (Anka sadly is no longer with us.) Cisco lives with us in our home filled with 6 animal loving kids and two parent that are strong supporters of animals in need. He is a kind, patient and loving soul. Cisco is a loyal dog and has always been there to protect and care for his family.

Cisco loves each and everyone in the home. He has been drawn paticulalry close to my son Matthew who is intellectually disabled and on the atusim spectrum. He seems to care for him like he is one of his own. They play and lay together all of the time. Matthew and Cisco are inseperable. Cisco is alway earger to greet our family when we return from school or work and his very loving.

Our family has drained all our savings on treatment for Cisco and spent about $6k and UC Davis is estimating it will cost another $5,000-$6,700 for surgery. We simply do not have the money. Our family already spends most of our financial resources caring for ourdiabled son.

Cisco has been treated by numerous doctors for his constant ear infections. He is currently under treatment at UC Davis small animal clinic. They have recommended that he undergo TECABO surgery. Cisco has been on an expensive diet due to his allergies and has been on numerous medications daily to help with pain, infection and inflamation.

Compared to Oso who tends to be more conservative, Cisco is definetly the fun dog. It's like he never grew out of his puppy statge. He loves to run and play and never seems to run out of energy. He is also very attached to my husband and will start to cry to get my husbands attention. His partner in crime is my son Matthew. Cisco always goes to Matthew for extra treates or to be let in the home.
