Last December, my husband barely survived a Neuro ICU coma. To help heal our children's trauma, we got Cito, a teacup Yorkie. He brought the immediate laughter, comfort, and joy we desperately prayed for, holding our family together. I know many face impossible choices, but I am begging you to hear our story and help us save the little pup who healed our broken hearts.

Our 7-month-old teacup Yorkie, Cito Ruiz, is fighting for his life in the ICU. He has pneumonia after a seizure caused him to aspirate. He is in an oxygen chamber, struggling to breathe, but he is fighting. He is getting stronger. He wants to live. He is staying at the Vet Hospital nearest us. He is the light of our day although we have no idea what brought this on.
