Rescue work is filled with unexpected challenges, and every animal who comes into a rescue’s care deserves the opportunity to receive the medical attention, safety, and support they need. Fundraising campaigns help rescues meet those needs, but unfortunately, not every campaign reaches its fundraising goal—or receives donations at all.
Even when a campaign does not receive financial support, bringing attention to an animal’s story can still make a difference. Every share can help a rescue reach new supporters, connect with potential adopters or fosters, and remind people that countless animals are depending on organizations and individuals willing to step up for them.

About this campaign
Clara is only a little over one year old. She should be spending these early days doing what young dogs do best—playing, exploring, learning what safety feels like, and soaking up every bit of the happy life now ahead of her. And Clara tries.
She greets the world with bright eyes, a wagging tail, and the kind of joyful spirit that makes everyone around her smile. But behind that sweet face, Clara is living with a painful medical issue that cannot be ignored. This precious girl has a hernia that requires surgical repair.
Left untreated, hernias can worsen over time, causing discomfort, internal complications, digestive issues, and the frightening risk of organs becoming trapped or compromised. What may seem manageable now can quickly turn into a much more serious—and dangerous—emergency.
Clara is still just a baby. She deserves the chance to grow, run, play, and thrive without carrying this condition into adulthood.
Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation is determined to make sure Clara gets the surgery she needs before this becomes a lifelong problem, but rescue medical expenses add up quickly, and they cannot do it without help.
