Cat rescued from almost drowning in Florida intracoastal needs emergency care

Cleo’s life almost ended in the rough waters of Florida’s Intracoastal. She was spotted struggling desperately, the current slamming her tiny body into the seawall. Exhausted and terrified, she was moments from drowning when a Good Samaritan called Cathy from Cathy’s Cats Corporation.

Cathy rushed to the scene and pulled Cleo from the water, her small body limp and trembling. She was rushed straight to the vet, where she is now hospitalized. Diagnostics are underway to determine the extent of her injuries.
