About this campaign

Cleo’s life almost ended in the rough waters of Florida’s Intracoastal. She was spotted struggling desperately, the current slamming her tiny body into the seawall. Exhausted and terrified, she was moments from drowning when a Good Samaritan called Cathy from Cathy’s Cats Corporation.

Cathy rushed to the scene and pulled Cleo from the water, her small body limp and trembling. She was rushed straight to the vet, where she is now hospitalized. Diagnostics are underway to determine the extent of her injuries. Cleo is having trouble moving her back legs, and her breathing remains heavy—both signs that she may have suffered trauma or internal damage.

Right now, every hour matters. Cleo is receiving oxygen support, pain relief, and constant monitoring. Her road to recovery will depend on the results of her tests and the care she receives in the coming days.

Cathy’s Cats Corporation is a small rescue with a big heart, but emergency cases like Cleo’s stretch resources to the limit. Your donation will go directly toward her hospitalization, diagnostics, and ongoing care to give her the best chance at survival and recovery.
