About this campaign
Cleocatra/Mama Kitty came into my life as more of an accident. She was my roommates, daughters cat that they adopted, and in turn, she adopted me against my will. When I moved, it was a unanimous decision that she belonged with me and so I took her with me. I am currently living in a house with 2 other roommates and splitting bills, living paycheck to paycheck.
Just yesterday I noticed she was struggling to urinate. I do not have the funds to even get a diagnosis, let alone think about treatment. I will be taking her to the emergency veterinary hospital in Grand Rapids ASAP, funds or not as this is a very urgent matter/situation.
Mama kitty is the sweetest girl. She greets me when I got home from work with her special chirps and meows, and I talk back to her and ask how her day was. She doesn't interact with anyone except me, I'm her person and she is my cat. Very quick to let me know when it is time for dinner, and she loves to experience the outdoors, even if she only makes it 5ft out the door.
I recently suffered from a job loss and have been struggling to keep bills paid and food on the table for myself and the cats. She's always been a light in the dark for me when I'm down and out, now I need help to be the light in the dark for her when she's not feeling well.
