Cliff’s Road to Healing

About this campaign

One of the hardest things to imagine is a puppy left scared and alone, waiting for someone to stop and care.

Cliff was found on the side of the road likely after being hit by a car. At just 8 months old and only 12 pounds, he had already endured too much.

Thanks to RBARI, Cliff was rushed into emergency surgery to save his leg. Today, he is safe, healing, and slowly beginning to trust the world again. He’s even started putting weight on his leg, a sign of just how far he’s come.

This sweet little guy, with his blue eyes and fox-like face, is beginning to show the playful, loving puppy he was always meant to be. But healing isn’t just physical. Cliff is still learning that he’s safe and that he’s finally home.

His journey isn’t over yet. Cliff will need a calm, quiet environment where he can continue to recover including three months of crate rest, short leash walks, and lots of patience to ensure his leg heals properly. He’s currently in foster, but what he truly needs is a forever home of his own.

In true puppy fashion, Cliff recently gave everyone a scare after getting into hair ties, so he’s also undergoing additional imaging to make sure he’s fully in the clear.

RBARI stepped in when Cliff needed it most, and with your help, they can continue to say “yes” to puppies like him.

Please consider donating or sharing Cliff’s story. And if you or someone you know can offer him the calm, loving home he needs, you could be the one to give this brave little survivor the happy ending he deserves.
