Cloud was diagnosed with Idiopathic epilepsy when he was 2 years old. He is medicated and was seizure free for 4 years but had minor breakthroughs today. Recently, Cloud had a 100% urinary blockage back in June and it’s now reoccurred as of yesterday Oct 16. I brought him to an emergency vet last night and they said he needs to have a perineal urethrostomy. He is at Metairie Small Animal Hospital.

Cloud likes to stalk you from behind corners if you initiate eye contact, he plays fetch by bringing back toys and he absolutely loves to lounge in my lap when I’m home from work in the evenings and sitting at my computer. Every night for 8 years his routine is to jump up and roll around and purr while I give him rubs and scratches. He absolutely loves his cheeks being scratched!

A breakup from a 20yr relationship left Cloud’s insurance in the owners hands and it was cancelled. He lost his epilepsy and urinary coverage which is now pre existing on his new Policy that is only in its 3rd day of the 14 day wait period.
