Coava is a 6-year-old Bernedoodle in Chattanooga, TN, who needs $1,200 for Admission, Antibiotics, IV fluids, and Supportive Medications.

We have an incredibly sweet and loving dog who lives with my husband and I at our house in Tennessee. She is normally very playful and kind and loves to wrestle!

We go on daily walks at the local park and it's her favorite time of day! Her second favorite time is when one of us gets home and she comes sprinting toward the door to greet you.

Apart from her scraggly hair and desire to wrestle and play, she is the sweetest and most loving dog. She loves to cuddle on the couch and watch movies until she puts herself to bed upstairs around 9. Her favorite food is salmon and she'll sit for an hour in the same spot in the kitchen until we give her some scraps!

She was her normal self until last week when she suddenly stopped eating. We cooked a dozen different things for her but she eventually refused all food. When we brought her to Northgate Animal Hospital she had a bad kidney injury presumably from leptospirosis. She has required antibiotic therapy, anti nausea and appetite stimulant injections, and IV fluids to help and are hopeful.

This was of course a major unexpected expense for our otherwise healthy dog and came out of nowhere. With a combination of our tax bill and other expenses we fear that we would be unable to fund her treatments from a recoverable condition and could really use some help!
