About this campaign
Coco came into my life nearly 13 years ago while I was living in North Carolina. He was a gift during a very difficult and abusive relationship, but he quickly became my loyal companion and source of strength. He shares our home with two French Bulldog siblings. I kept his original name, Coco, but added Michael as his middle name. He has been my constant through high and low for a decade.
Coco was seen on 12/05/25 at Home Veterinary in Walpole, MA. Bloodwork/x-rays revealed his liver is half the normal size and he has a slightly calcified aorta. Most concerning are three bright white circles in his gizzard, which the vet believes is metal. I spent $919 on these diagnostics, which I had to put on a credit card that is now maxed out. I am desperate to get him the next level of care
Coco is my constant; our bond is unbreakable. He has been the one consistent presence in my life through foster care, abusive relationships, and many moves. Despite anything our struggles, he is incredibly social and loves everyone. I take him everywhere, from walks in the park to trips through the drive-thru. He is a happy, gentle soul who brings joy to every family member and stranger he meets.
Bills are piling up and my cards are maxed. I was denied CareCredit and feel at a loss. I fought for years to keep Coco with me after leaving an abusive home; he is my reason to get up. Getting him healthy means the world to me. I simply cannot afford to lose him now.
