Coco Chanel is a 12-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel in Sacramento, CA, who needs $1,200 for Cystotomy package.

A close friend had given me Coco. She had the dog for about 1 year and seen how much Coco and I got along and the bond we had. A friend of hers had died and gave his dog to her. Her landlord said she couldn't have two dogs so she gave Coco to me knowing how well we got along and that I would be perfect to have Coco since I knew her right from the beginning. Coco loves all people and other animals. I also have a cat and they get along good. The cat acts like Coco doesn't exist but then will hide around a corner waiting for Coco to come around and jump on her in ambush and then run away with Coco in pursuit. She barks every time the doorbell rings and doesn't stop till the person comes in then is wagging her tail looking for pets.

I am retired and only receive $1399 a month.This barely covers my living expenses. My vehicle is in the garage with a blown engine I can't afford to fix it. I used my stimulus check to pay for Cocos bills up to this point but cannot pay for the surgery.

Coco started limping. I brought her to Mercy Pet Hospital. and Dr. Emily Kian found she had fox tails packed between her paws requiring surgery.During the initial eval found that Cocos bladder was completely full of stones requiring surgery and if not corrected will result in death or need to be put under. The cost so far I paid was $800 now it would be $2000 more for the surgery.

Coco loves to go out of the house and gets excited every time I get dressed hoping she will be taken out with me. She loves stopping at every house smelling, peeing or rolling on the grass. See loves playing fetch and when there are wild geese feeding in the park, then loves to run at them watching them fly away. I often wondered what she'd do if they just stood there looking at her.
