Coco Needs Your Help

Coco, an older cat with a "grumpy" face, was abandoned by her previous owner and was left in pain with untreated medical issues. She had untreated dental issues, infections, and was on antibiotics but it was never refilled. After A Pathway to Hope rescue took her to urgent care, where she got X-rays, bloodwork, and a dental procedure, Coco is now recovering. She’s eating and purring and doesn't seem to be in pain. Her biopsy results are still pending, but she’s in a safe, loving home where she can heal and regain her strength.

Coco is special because of her combined sweet yet grumpy nature. On one hand, she’s affectionate and loves attention from family members, but she always wears her grumpy attitude. She’s playful at times, and purring is a sign of her trust and comfort. Coco enjoys sitting nearby, observing, and occasionally seeking affection.

A Pathway to Hope rescue is stretched thin financially, with over $1,500 spent on Coco’s care alone. Your support will help them continue Coco's treatment and give her the chance to heal, while also providing proper care to all the other animals in their shelter as well. Thank you!

Update 6/12/15
Coco is doing great in her foster home! She’s very easy going, calm, and friendly. She likes relaxing and eating. Those are her two favorite things to do. She eats soft food only due to her previous health issues with her mouth. Just to play it safe. She is not messy with her litter box. She is definitely messy with eating. She spills soft food on the floor all the time, even though they have tried all different types of bowls. She is getting along a little bit better with their dogs and cats, but she’d still prefer to be an only fur baby. She is definitely an awesome cat!!

4/21/26 Update

Thank you to everyone who supported Coco on her healing journey. This pretty kitty has fully healed and has officially been adopted into her forever home where she is receiving all the love and care in the world. Thank you!
