Coco was a rescue who came from Northern Florida in 2011. She had lived in a household of 10 dogs who were kept outside constantly. Initially, she was very shy, jumpy and anxious. I very slowly gained her trust with treats ( she's a hound ), rubs and hugs; she appeared to decide that my lap was one of her favorite places and does not exhibit any fear of strangers, two legged or four legged. She is friendly to all! Her physical health had been neglected so I attended to her medical and dental care and fed her a heathly diet including vet recommended supplements.
