About this campaign

Coco came to our life 3 years ago after we lost of first cat (Ginger). The whole family were devastated when we lose Ginger. A few months later we decided to get another cat. We got Coco from someone that wanted to get rid of the kittens and that's were we took Coco and Luna with us. The names were chose by my daughters. We love them with all our hearts.

In the house there is two cats Coco and Luna and a dog named Malik. All of them are pretty well loved, we pamper them every day with treats, food and much love. All our pets show some type of affection to each other. Both cats sleeps in my daughters room, each in the corner of each bed. Coco is a more outside cat, he likes to explore around the neighborhood while Luna is more inside cat.

Coco is special to us because he got into our lives when we needed him the most. He is a very calm cat who loves snuggles with all of us. What I love about Coco is that when my husband gives him pets him, Coco growls at him but not in a bad way. We know that Coco loves my husband back. Another thing that I love from Coco is that he chases a pet laser

Unfortunately, Coco got hit by a car when he was trying to cross the street a couple days ago. My husband and I witnessed that terrifying moment. I run to helped him but he run away and didn't come back until the third day. He is pretty affected from this accident, one of his legs has a large open where we can see his bones and the other one need to be amputated as soon as possible.

I am looking for financial support to pay Coco's surgery. I have taken him to a veterinary today May 23 paying partially from my pocket and the other part with financial support from a local non-profit organization as I cannot pay for all the medical care he needs now.
