About this campaign
We adopted our dog during the COVID-19 pandemic and named her Coco. During one of the darkest periods of my life, she became my anchor. Her presence gave me comfort when I was struggling emotionally, and caring for her reminded me that I was needed. I found strength in protecting her and ensuring she would always be safe and loved. Coco gave my life renewed purpose.
Coco, our five-year-old dog, was recently diagnosed with life-threatening GDV. Surgery is urgent, with an estimated cost of $16,000, and without it, euthanasia is the only option. She is deeply loved, and we are doing everything to save her. She is currently at Veterinary Emergency Center at Redlands.
Coco is more than a pet,she is our source of comfort and joy. She senses when we’re down and offers quiet reassurance, while with our family she is playful, affectionate, and loyal. Her gentle, loving nature makes her a cherished member of our family. She helped me get through with life more than words can explain. She gave me a purpose to live and a reason to be happy again.
We’re on a fixed income, and Coco’s life-saving GDV surgery costs nearly $16,000,far beyond what we can afford. Having her healthy again would mean everything; she brings love, comfort, and purpose to our lives, and we can’t imagine our family without her.
